The best way to reach us is via email at reservations@plates-london.com. We aim to respond as quickly as possible, though response times may vary during busy service periods.
We release reservations on a rolling basis, typically three months in advance. New dates are announced via our newsletter and social media – we recommend joining both to stay updated.
We operate a 48-hour cancellation policy. Cancellations made within this period will result in the loss of your deposit.
We’re unfortunately unable to increase party sizes once a booking is confirmed, as tables are carefully allocated.
If you need a larger table, we recommend checking availability for a new booking.
Yes – you can reduce your party size, but please note:
- Changes within 48 hours may affect your deposit
- Deposits are adjusted based on final attendance
Vouchers can be redeemed when dining with us. Please add your voucher code to your booking notes so we can prepare in advance. Kindly note:
- A deposit is still required to secure your table
- The voucher is applied to your final bill on the day
For private dining or events, please email us directly with your enquiry. Our events typically include:
- A seasonal tasting menu (5–8+ courses depending on format)
- Optional wine or non-alcoholic pairings
- A dedicated front-of-house team
Minimum spend and format vary depending on group size and day.
Our maximum table size is 6 guests in the main dining room.
Yes – all bookings require a deposit to secure the table.
- The deposit is redeemed against your final bill
- It is refundable if cancelled within our 48-hour policy
- If you dine, it is simply deducted from the total bill
We are a fully plant-based restaurant. We can accommodate:
- Gluten-free diets
- Most allergies (with advance notice)
However:
- We use nuts extensively in the kitchen
- Unfortunately, we cannot accommodate soya and certain nut allergies (e.g. cashew)
Please always include dietary requirements when booking.
We accept all major debit and credit cards. We are a cashless restaurant.
We do our best to accommodate all guests – however, due to the nature of the building, access may be limited.
Please contact us in advance so we can advise and assist.
We encourage a smart casual dress code.
We want you to feel comfortable, while keeping the atmosphere aligned with the experience.
We unfortunately don’t have a bar or waiting area. We kindly ask guests to arrive at the exact time of their reservation.
We will hold your table for up to 15 minutes. After this time, we may need to release it due to the nature of our service.
Our experience is designed to be enjoyed fully:
- Lunch: approximately 2–2.5 hours
- Dinner: approximately 2.5–3 hours

We are reservation only and do not accept walk-ins.
We are located in Shoreditch, London. The closest stations are:
- Old Street
- Shoreditch High Street
- Liverpool Street
Due to the style and length of our tasting menu, we are best suited to older children who can enjoy the full experience.
We are unable to accommodate prams due to limited space.
Yes – we have a small number of terrace tables. However:
- These are weather dependent
- Not available to book in advance
- Offered on the day when conditions allow
