Our next reservation booking window is for July-August. The tables for this booking window will be released on May 7th at 19:00 BST on our website reservations page.
We operate on a rolling booking window (around 3 months ahead). For future dates, we recommend:

We recommend:
- Selecting multiple dates and times
- Enabling notifications for the best chance of securing a table
We are reservation only and do not accept walk-ins.
Vouchers can be redeemed when dining with us. Please add your voucher code to your booking notes so we can prepare in advance. Kindly note:
- A deposit is still required to secure your table
- The voucher is applied to your final bill on the day
Our maximum table size is 6 guests in the main dining room.
For private dining or events, please email us directly with your enquiry. Our events typically include:
- A seasonal tasting menu (5–8+ courses depending on format)
- Optional wine or non-alcoholic pairings
- A dedicated front-of-house team
Minimum spend and format vary depending on group size and day.
Yes – all bookings require a deposit to secure the table.
- The deposit is redeemed against your final bill
- It is refundable if cancelled within our 48-hour policy
- If you dine, it is simply deducted from the total bill
We operate a 48-hour cancellation policy. Cancellations made within this period will result in the loss of your deposit.
We’re unfortunately unable to increase party sizes once a booking is confirmed, as tables are carefully allocated.
If you need a larger table, we recommend checking availability for a new booking.
Yes – you can reduce your party size, but please note:
- Changes within 48 hours may affect your deposit
- Deposits are adjusted based on final attendance
We cannot cater for allergies to nuts, soya, allium due to the frequent inclusion of these ingredients across our menu. If you have another allergy, please contact the team to discuss on restaurant@plates-london.com as well as adding to your guest notes which will appear after your reservation is confirmed.
Due to the style and length of our tasting menu, we are best suited to older children who can enjoy the full experience.
Please note that we do not offer a children’s menu.
We are unable to accommodate prams due to limited space.
We accept all major debit and credit cards. We are a cashless restaurant.
We do our best to accommodate all guests – however, due to the nature of the building, access may be limited.
We encourage a smart casual dress code.
We want you to feel comfortable, while keeping the atmosphere aligned with the experience.
We unfortunately don’t have a bar or waiting area. We kindly ask guests to arrive at the exact time of their reservation.
We will hold your table for up to 15 minutes. After this time, we may need to release it due to the nature of our service.
Our experience is designed to be enjoyed fully:
- Lunch: approximately 2–2.5 hours
- Dinner: approximately 2.5–3 hours

Yes – we have a small number of terrace tables. However:
- These are weather dependent
- Not available to book in advance
- Offered on the day or day before when conditions allow
